Another Face

I am intrigued  by faces.  It is a great way to keep my hands busy. Also my focus on drawing what I see.... or my perspective of what I see.  I also like to play with filters on different apps once I have a sketch.   Color is my favorite.

Finding my Wild

Finding my wild is usually very easy for me, unless I am  limited by my computer skills or lack of.

Computers bring another universe of combinations and ideas for my imagination to expand...but

I really have to search and use my creaitivity for the satisfaction with my art work.  Sometimes it leads to a totally different destination in my creation,  never the less I always manage to do ART.

and ART is good for my soul.

Painted on 17 by 20 canvas. 

Started by painting light tan acrylic paint and hints of blue.

Stamped randomly with cursive stamp.

Stiple painted heart with stiff brush added blue.

Charcoal penciled around the heart to create shadow

The lettering was done on photo of heart in Turbo Collage.

Vision Board

        I am always up for making a collage. Cutting up old magazines to make something new and motivating.  I started by randomly cutting out things I liked and arranged them on a piece of poster board. Glued pieces down, then used markers to fill small spaces with hearts, flowers etc.. Let it dry. I cut the  poster board following around some of the words and pictures at the top and bottom to give it a more interesting shape.

    The vision part comes after you really look at the pictures and words also how you arrange them on the board. I found it had new meanings and inspiration that I was not conscious of as I was cutting and gluing.  It was a very motivating project for me to to start the new year.  I wanted to share.

Courage

Today I feel like I lost my wings.............Courage....... If I don't start I cannot finish.... and I will miss all the adventure in-between.  Adventure is one of my favorite things to experience in life. I look for adventure in everyone and everything...brings JOYJOYJOY to my heart.
